Directorof Learning & Development will be responsible all learning andorganizational development activities are aligned to the corporate direction.Furthermore, the Director of Learning & Development is responsible forproviding as well as “Promoting a Climate of Enthusiasm” amongst all levelsthroughout the hotel by creating and ensuring colleague satisfaction througheffective learning and development.
Duties andSupporting Responsibilities:
1. Maximize learning byproviding a creative, fun and exciting environment in the delivery of suchtraining sessions as: Welcome Orientation, computer trainings, other servicetrainings, etc.
2. Assisting to ensure thatMOGZH colleagues learning needs are met by assisting and arranging resources toDepartmental Trainers for programs to be conducted throughout the hotel, suchas the Departmental Learning Program.
3. Maintain the TrainingCentre, inclusive of all equipment, books and materials.
4. Assist in observing andappraising colleague performance during training sessions, providing feedbackto Learning and Development Director and concerned management which wouldfacilitate improvements in accordance to MOHG standards with regard to productand performance.
5. To ensure all individualcolleague learning & development records within SHIJI System by tracking,inputting and maintaining.
6. To monitor and overseeall departmental learning programs as stated on the Learning and DevelopmentPolicies including, New Hire Learning, LQE required training, LanguageTraining, FHLSS & Food Handling and Sanitation, and other relatedtrainings.
7. Support all efforts toenliven our Company’s Mission, Guiding Principles and Legendary QualityExperiences throughout the hotel leading by example and serving as a rolemodel.
8. Work closely with entireHuman Resources Team regarding promoting an “employer of choice” philosophy.
9. Ensuring the maintenanceof Learning and Development related bulletin boards and updating Daily LQEPillars.
10. Assist the HumanResources Executive in all colleague recognition programs to include parties& celebrations and other time basis events.
11. Maintenance ofattendance records and other documentation related to the Learning andDevelopment efforts.
12. Ensure security andconfidentiality of all information throughout the hotel.
13. Monitor the departmentaldevelopment of Learning and Development monthly planners.
14. Conducting meetings withdepartment Directors and departmental trainers to assess specific learningneeds.
15. Support all internshipprogram both China and Overseas, such as conducting interview, contacting theinterns, arrangement prior to the onboard with HR team.
16. Ensure the groomingstandard of colleagues is up to standards of Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou.
17. Support the externaltraining program by liaising and arranging with the external personnel, as wellas within the hotel.
18. Assist in thearrangement for all external training and cross exposure outside Guangzhou
JobRequirement:
1. 5 years relatedexperience, including management experience, or an equivalent combination ofeducation and experience.
2. Proficient in the use ofMicrosoft Office.
3. Effective communicationand presentation skills in both Chinese & English.
4. Responsible and positiveattitude can work under pressure and with team work spirit.
5. Fluent English speakingand writing skill.
6. Able to manage, trainand motivate the team.
