Job Duties
1.Responsible for the delivery of the learning and development practices and manage the learning and development function for three hotels in Shenzhen Area: Futian Shangri-La, Shenzhen, Shangri-La Shenzhen , Nanshan Shangri-La, Shenzhen and JEN Shenzhen Qianhai by Shangri-La (4 hotels).
Maintain accurate and up to date records of all training activities and training records and provide management information regarding training needs to key.
Support hotel audits with essential training records and follow company policy as well as local authority guideline in training related area.
Conducts New Hire orientation for new employees.
Plan and organize New Hire Induction for key positionsDevelop Department Trainers' training & coaching competencies.
Coordinate the training activities of departmental trainers to ensure their full involvement in both developing and conducting training.
Assist the Director of Human Resources in preparing the Annual Learning Budget.
Monitor Training Budget by preparing monthly training expenses report.
Develop an annual training plan which meets the needs of employees through the Learning Needs Analysis exercisePublish an annual and monthly calendar of training courses and ensure maximum attendance through clear communication to and liaison with Head of Department on a regular basis.
Develop, source and conduct training courses where appropriate to meet requirements.
Ensure all requests for training by employees are responded to in a timely manner and follow up is conducted where appropriate.
Monitor the effectiveness of pre and post training evaluation to maximize benefits from training courses and identify future training needs.
Develop effective links with partnership organizations such as universities and colleges, training provider, other learning and development colleagues etc.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Bachelors Degree with specialization in Human Resource Management or any related discipline preferred.
At least 5 years experience in full spectrum of Learning and Development.
Team player with excellent communication skills.
Enjoys working in a highly empowered and energetic workplace environment.
Posses excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Can create engaging presentations and written documents.
Strong in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
