Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to the hotel property and area
based plumbing and drainage maintenance team members on electromechanical
equipment related issues
2.
Communicate with plumbing and drainage team
members regarding water filtration equipment, motor and pump system failures
and facilitate the repairs while evaluating and recommending preventive
measures to avoid future failures
3.
Review relevant plumbing and drainage
maintenance and equipment related issues – identify best practices and provide
feedback for property maintenance system
4.
Conduct plumbing and drainage maintenance audits
and provide good quality recommendations as a result of audit findings
5.
Coordinate and supervise the work of service contractors
to ensure that the terms of all such contracts for major plants and system are
fully implemented
6.
Prepare and update lists of spare parts and
materials required for the continued correct functioning of all items of plants
and equipment, ensure that an adequate stock is maintained
7.
Maintain contact with local authorities to
ensure that all requirements are fulfilled
8.
Make frequent inspection tours to check
condition of building and equipment, monitor work progress, administer all
capital projects, and submit reports as directed by the MEP and Plant
Operations
9.
Manage team members including payroll,
scheduling, performance evaluation, and disciplinary procedures
10.
Monitor and control repair and maintenance
budget to include energy cost and consumption
Requirements:
1.
Solid experience in the operation, installation
and maintenance of mechanical, plumbing and drainage distribution and piping
systems
2.
Working knowledge of all aspects of building
systems and operations, contractual maintenance, construction and related
services, and local laws and building codes pertaining to building operations
and safety
3.
Good communication and organizational skills,
ability to analyze and solve problems, capable of functioning well under stress
and during emergencies, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
4.
Proven ability to organize and manage multiple
projects simultaneously
5.
Ability to lead engineers, determines
priorities, assign and delegate work and responsibility
6.
Understanding of project management,
preventative maintenance, inventory control, supplier systems,
environmental/sustainability software and programs is a plus
7.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications such
as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
8.
Diploma in Engineering, Building Services, and
related disciplines
