Sales Manager's mission is to primarily promote the hotel and hotelsbelonging to the chain in his/her area/region. This position is accountable forbooking individual, group business, banquets and meetings on an establishedbase of the top producing key accounts and for managing / converting highpotential key prospects to meet with and excel the forecasted occupancy,budgeted average rate and revenue.

· Monitors competitors’activities and assists in marketing intelligence.

· Plans and manages sales callsaccording to Account Management procedures adhering with Accorhotel standardson an annual, monthly, weekly and daily basis.

· Participates in salesactivities by identifying potential customers whether from existing or newaccounts, selling through tele-sales or sales calls and participating in hotelsales blitz to develop new business and follows up.

· Maintains good relations andsolicits daily room night production of individual and groups business from theexisting and new accounts in order to meet sales targets.

· Plans, coordinates andsupervises with the help of various departments that clients' specificrequirements are adhered to ensure their satisfaction.

· Keeps two-way communicationsbetween clients and hotel, ensuring clients are kept updated with latestdevelopment in hotel, and senior management are kept updated on changes incompanies, market events, market trends, customer feedback on hotel andcompetitor activities.

· Maintains updated records andcall results, potentials, productivity, competitive information, rate history,etc. in Fidelio.

· Produces daily & weeklyproductivity reports stating leads, tentative and confirmed bookings and lostbusiness, and corrective actions taken.
