DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 工作职责
• To coordinate and supervise Reception associates work with consistent quality standard, ensuring them provide warm, courteous and efficient service to all guests, while striving to towards total guest satisfaction. Reception is operated in a professional manner at all times.

• Drive the business .

• Maintain knowledge of credit policies and procedures and liaise closely with Finance Department to ensure that credit procedures are properly carried out.

• Have a complete knowledge of standard operation procedure of Reception. 完善前台日常运作的标准操作程序
• Responsible for ensuring that the policies and procedures set up are adhered to. 保证制定的政策方针被执行
• Have a complete knowledge of the hotel facilities and services, including room type, room rates, relative features and facilities.
全面了解酒店的设施设备及服务
• Conduct daily shift briefing and other regular Reception Training monthly. 制定日常会议及定期的培训计划
• Be highly visible at working area while on duty to provide assistance and guide Guest Service Associate to handle guests promptly and efficiently.

• Check and update daily events and hotel activities and brief Guest Service Associate. 与员工分享日常宴会信息及酒店的相关活
• Ensure the registered guest data keyed in PSB computer correctly and transmitted by the requirement of PSB.

• Ensure the cash drawer is veracity.

• Ensure that either you or shift leader verifies the shift closing of Guest Service Associate and drop the remittance in the safe.

• Ensure effective communications between the Reception, Reservation, InterContinental Club and Housekeeping to provide accurate, consistency and highest standard service to all guests.
确保前台、预订部、洲际俱乐部和客房部之间的有效的沟通以为客人提供准确的、一致性的、高标准的服务
• Provide feedback and make recommendation on improvement to the operation. 提出该改进日常运作的建议
• Evaluate the performance of subordinates in accordance to the prevailing personnel policy. 根据人事政策评估员工的表现
• Ensure all new employees are properly inducted and that ample time is spent. 确保吸纳适合的新员工,并且有足够时间带领新员工
• Monitor requisition for all areas. Physical check on these areas to avoid overstock situation.

• Disseminate important operations information to immediate subordinates and relevant departments as well as follow-up through discussions on assignments given to them

• Ensure that work area is always clean, neat and organized.

• Be fully conversant with all emergency procedures and train all of the Guest Service Associate. 全面熟悉应急程序并培训员工
• Coaches, counsels and disciplines staff, providing constructive feedback to enhance performance. 通过员工沟通,为其表现提供建设性的意见
• Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations.

• As a coordinator of guest services, to act as the ‘eyes and ears' of the Management. Duties will include soliciting for feedback on the behalf of the Management, addressing service and product deficiencies and look into the general well-being of our valued guests.

• Attend to all feedback/comments from guest and transmit them to the department concerned and see that corrective actions are taken immediately

• Constant checks on the appearance, grooming and uniform of the staff and make recommendations to rectify and correct such appearance on all staff. Candidate also makes appropriate suggestions to improve staff training.

• Develop and maintain good employee relations through intelligent interpretation and conscientious application of resident personnel policies.

• Demonstrate Awareness of OH&S policies and procedures and ensure all procedures are conducted safely and within OH&S guidelines

• Be aware of duty of care and adhere to occupational, health and safety legislation, policies and procedures 了解职责相关内容,维护职业法,健康安全法
• Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures and operate equipment safely and sensibly
熟悉财产安全,急救,火灾、紧急事件发生时的补救措施,设备的安全操作
• Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers
