You will assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt Hotels Corporation's Corporate Strategic Priorities, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. Assists in the smooth and efficient running of the Engineering Department in support of all other operating departments

Holder of an official trade certificate or diploma in engineering, with minimum of 2 years work experience as engineer in hotel or in a similar large building/complex with central plant.
1. Initiate/identify project work required in light of your tradethroughout the hotel

2. Assist the Shift Engineer with the design of a preventativemaintenance program

6. Ensure pool chemical level is in accordance with legislativerequirements, is vacuumed and surrounding area maintained to standardsestablished

Under the guidance of the Director of Engineering or his delegate ensures that the Hotels equipment is operated in accordance with IHG standards to ensure maximum efficiency and guest satisfaction

Reports daily by log book to the Director of Engineer of all irregularities during his shift and steps taken to rectify the problems highlighted

Determines optimal operating efficiencies and take necessary corrective measures when variance from standards are excessive through logs and utility data
