i. To supervise the service of all restaurant staff on a daily basis.
ii. To assist the guest in choosing his or her beverage and or food order from the menu. And try to upsell specials as specified by the Chef and beverage items.
iii. To take the food or beverage order from the guest, ensuring that the order is accurate and has been double checked.
iv. To input the order accurately in the POS system as outlined within the Restaurant operating policy.
v. To ensure all cutleries are changed according to the order as outlined in the restaurant policy.
vi. To maintain a high standard of service to guests and recommend improvements.
vii. To check all stations, tables, pantry and display prior to each meal period and ensure areas are correctly set up.
viii. To follow up on service and make sure guests are given every attention.
ix. To assign stations and rotate duties to service staff and check on them to ensure correct procedures are followed.
x. Be responsible for the protection of all operating equipment, seeing that it is properly stored, handled and breakage is minimized at all times.
xi. To conduct daily briefings with all staff, informing them of daily specials, VIPs and other relevant information.
xii. To comply with any reasonable request make by the Manager.
xiii. To maintain a high profile during service periods to ensure standards of quality and service are maintained at all times.
xiv. To assist the Restaurant Manager during the course of their work, ensuring full support at all times.
xv. To assist with all F&B promotion within the outlet, including set up and implementation.
xvi. To check that there is sufficient operating equipment, guest and restaurant supplies, to ensure that all service standards are maintained for each days business. And is responsible to requisition additional replacement equipment and guest and restaurant supplies.
xvii. To assist in the direct service to the guest, ensuring high standards of service and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times.
xviii. To immediately communicate all guest feedback or problems to the Restaurant Manager
