The incumbent isresponsible assist Director of Sales directing the hotel sales team inachieving the rooms revenue goals as laid out in the hotel Marketing Plan aswell as taking responsibility for all rooms sales, solicitation of new businessand implementing sales action plans set forth in the Marketing Plan.
Generate rooms businessfrom existing and potential accounts, coordinating customer requirements withother departments to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and profitability forthe hotel
Duties and Supporting Responsibilities:
1. Explorenew sources of business by developing new contacts.
2. Seek and contact new potential clientsthrough:
· Direct enquiry
· Sales leads – local andoverseas
· Sales Blitz
3. Ensure all enquiries are handled promptly and efficiently accordingto guidelines set up by DOSM / DOS.
4. Beresponsible for room night and revenue production from allocated accounts
5. Entertainexecutives and secretaries of potential corporate companies and in-house gueststo ensure future business to the hotel
6. Conduct on-site inspections for the existing or prospective travelinfluencers, decision makers and end users
7. Participate in familiarization visits and entertain as and whenrequired
8. Monitor own accounts’ monthly production
9. Responsiblefor achieving budget and revenue generation.
10. Responsible for revenue forecast and monthly critique based on thetimeline set by DOSM/ DOE.
11. Monitorcompetitors’ performance where it relates to their particular market segment
12. Update all Delphi Sales account profiles and contact people afterevery call to maintain a proper profile of all accounts
13. Attend daily sales briefings and weekly sales meetings
14. Be aware of current market trends and supply competitor activityinformation to the Director of Sales & Marketing
15. Participate in sales trips and, when required, complete all salesreports within 1 week of trip
16. Prepare weekly sales call reports
17. Distribute seasonal gifts to major supporters

Job Requested:
1. Minimum of 5 years in the hotelindustry, luxury hotel experience is preferred
2. Able to liaise effectively withdesignated market segment accounts
3. Knowledge of market segment
4. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplishall major responsibilities and tasks.
5. Must be extremely detail-oriented and able to meet all expectationsand standards of a luxury hotel property.
6. Must be self-reliant and self-motivated
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.
8. Must be able to multi-task in a high paced environment.
