Job Summary:
1. Establish departmental strategic plan and lead department via specific action steps to achieve financial and quality goals.
2. Ensure that booking guidelines are followed, and that all catering leaders are maximizing space and revenue through daily Line-up and review of all tentative business.
3. Have thorough understanding of hotel financials (Revenue, P&L, and Pace) and ensure entire catering team is aware of the financial status of the hotel, including “need” months.
4.Extend lateral service to Conference Services team when needed. Have thorough understanding of Conference Services processes (How Work Gets Done) to ensure seamless handling of all groups.
Candidate Profile:
1. A minimum of two years of Events Sales Experience
2. Travel, hospitality or luxury goods background preferred
3. Excellent English writing skills and oral proficiency
4. Knowledge of various food service styles (i.e., French service, buffet presentations, tableside & butler style service)
