THE TEAM
Reporting to the Managing Director, with a dotted line to regional Sales and Marketing leadership, you will lead the Sales and Marketing division of the hotel. You will oversee a high-performing team including Sales, Event Sales, Communications, and Reservations, working collaboratively with all department heads and the wider corporate Sales and Marketing network.
YOUR ROLE
As Director of Sales and Marketing, you will shape and execute the hotel’s commercial strategy to maximise revenue and strengthen brand positioning. You will lead sales, marketing, and distribution initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand standards while driving performance across all business segments. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will influence strategic direction, foster cross-functional collaboration, and champion a culture of excellence and innovation.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
- Lead the development and execution of the hotel’s sales and marketing strategy to achieve revenue and market share objectives
- Drive business planning and forecasting in collaboration with Revenue Management to deliver commercial targets
- Develop and implement segment-specific sales and marketing plans aligned with budget and business goals
- Maximise performance across all distribution channels, leveraging revenue and channel management tools
- Ensure brand integrity through consistent application of brand standards and approved communication strategies
- Strengthen partnerships with corporate teams, key accounts, and sister hotels to unlock new business opportunities and cross-selling potential
- Provide data-driven insights and marketing intelligence to guide short- and long-term strategic decisions
- Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing Sales and Marketing team, fostering talent growth and future readiness
