Duties & Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper, the primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
1. Assist to Executive housekeeper in all area of the laundry department. Coordinate very close with engineer to maintain the equipment.
2. Responsible for the operation and production of dry-cleaning service & laundry service provided to guest to ensure hotel standard is met and resolve all guests complaints with respect. Oversee and monitor the application of detergent and use of machine to ensure the protection of hotel and guests property. Conduct Interviewing, counselling and training to all staff to ensure quality service is provided to hotel guests and staff are work at their best.
3. Plans and schedule the day-to-work activities of laundry personnel, ensuring that all hotel and guests requirements are met and taking to consideration the occupancy and business forecast and preventive maintenance schedules.
4. Evaluate staff half yearly. Reports infraction with proper recommendation for disciplinary action as well as, comments those who has done good performance.
5. Manage the cleaning & tidiness of all working areas to ensure hygiene standards is met.
Qualifications:
1. At least 2 years' same position working experience in international luxury brand hotel.
2. Minimum 8 years' experiences in international Hotels in China.
3. Has pre-opening working experience.
